Hi, I'm Alex and I am your certified health and wellness coach! After leaving home for college to pursue my education degree, I gained over 100 pounds and felt like I completely lost myself in the process. After years of trying fads and crash diets, I came to the realization that lasting change comes from a lifestyle change and building consistent habits. After committing to the process of implementing small habits, I lost 110 pounds naturally over the course of 4 years.
I have been on my health and wellness journey for over 11 years to become the best version of myself and it is my mission to help others become the best versions of themselves too. After spending 8 years as a middle school science teacher, my passion for living a mindful lifestyle led me to pursue my certification from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition in 2021 and Mindful Lifestyle came to fruition. My passion continues to grow to build sustainable habits to maintain a well-balanced life.
As your coach, I know firsthand how hard it can be to put yourself first and lose weight.
